How to get to the start line: The start line is within walking distance, about 400m from the Youth Centre (Race HQ). Please see town map below for direction to race start line.

Toilets: Portaloos will be available outside the registration hall & in the town center close to the start.

Timing Chip: The race will be chip timed. This means that you will get an exact time from when you cross the start line until you cross the finish line. Your individual timing chip will be on the back of your race number. Please attach your race number to the front of your outer layer using the safety pins provided. Do not fold or bend the number as this may mean the chip does not work properly. Your race number must be clearly visible at all times, especially when crossing the start and finish lines.

Pacers: Mallow AC will provide pacers for: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 & 95 minutes The pacers will run an even pace throughout the race so stick with them if they are running at your target time. This will prevent you from running off the start line full of enthusiasm and feeling great over the first few miles, only to crash and burn before the finish. If you have any energy to spare burn it up over the last mile and not the first. The pacers will be easily identifiable at the start line and will line up in order, so the 60 minute pacer will be towards the front of the pack and the 90 minute pacer will be further back.

Water Stations: There will be two water stations on the course at approximately 3.5 miles and 7.5 miles and more water available at the finish area.

Bag Drop: There are two areas you can leave your bags.

1) Youth Centre (Race HQ).

2) Fitness Solutions (Sponsors of Start & Finish line) are offering a ticketed bag drop for any runners wishing to avail of it. Fitness Solutions is located in the center of Mallow and close to the start line.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available after the race in the Youth Centre (Race HQ).

Showers: There are limited showers available in the Youth Centre (Race HQ). Mallow Swimming pool located beside the Youth Centre (Race HQ) offer the use of pool showers for 3 euros.
